VAIO

(Introduction)

VAIO's reputation rests on sophistication and artisanal craftsmanship, but reputation alone doesn't move a modern audience. The work needed to translate that legacy into something visceral: a laptop brand that felt less like a spec sheet and more like a statement.

(Challenges)

Sophistication is hard to capture. VAIO needed visual language that made precision and craft feel elemental, as if the laptop belonged to something larger than a spec sheet or a product shot. The film had to make elegance feel earned, not asserted.

(Final thoughts)

VAIO didn't need to prove it made a good laptop. It needed to feel like the laptop people who care about both function and beauty were already looking for. That's the distinction the work was built to draw.
