RCA

(Introduction)

RCA turned 100 the same year they launched a new product line — a rare chance to introduce something new while honoring a century of trust. The work had to hold both at once: RCA's legacy of innovation, and the reliability that made people believe in it in the first place.

(Challenges)

A hundred years of brand equity is an asset, but it can also read as dated if handled wrong. The task was to activate RCA's history rather than simply reference it — to make Nipper and Chipper, characters absent from RCA advertising for over 25 years, feel like a natural bridge between the brand's origins and its current product line, not a nostalgia play.

(Final thoughts)

The strongest brands don't need reinvention. They need someone to remind people why they mattered in the first place, then prove it's still true. Bringing Nipper and Chipper back wasn't a callback — it was RCA telling its audience the same story it always has, in a way built for now.
